Parent guidance for children with special needs (“dys” disorders and ASD)
We offer parent guidance sessions designed to support parents of children with learning disorders (dyslexia, dysorthographia, dyspraxia, etc.) or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). These sessions aim to give parents practical tools and suitable strategies to better understand and support their child day to day.
Personalised support for parents
Our guidance sessions are led by a team of specialised professionals and include:
- Personalised advice on managing the difficulties linked to your child’s specific disorders
- Practical tools to improve communication, emotional regulation and learning at home
- Sharing good practice with other parents, in a caring and supportive atmosphere
- Concrete recommendations to encourage your child’s independence and well-being at home and at school
Why take part in parent guidance?
- Strengthen the parent-child relationship, through a better understanding of your child’s specific needs
- Gain practical tools, adapted to your child’s disorders, to handle everyday situations better
- Talk with professionals and other parents, to share experiences and find solutions together
- Support your child’s development, while gaining resources for your own well-being
Parent guidance sessions help you better understand your child’s challenges and take a calmer, more effective approach to their specific needs.
