About me
With a degree in speech therapy, I am passionate about supporting children and adults with language and communication disorders. My approach is centred on listening, care and adapting to each patient’s specific needs. Through my training, I have gained skills in supporting people with learning and neurological disorders. My goal is to help everyone progress with confidence and peace of mind.
Care for children
I provide speech therapy assessments and ongoing therapy adapted to children’s specific needs in several key areas:
- Spoken language: developmental language disorders, speech delays and articulation difficulties.
- Written language: dyslexia, dysorthographia and learning delays.
- Mathematical cognition and logical reasoning: dyscalculia, learning delays and difficulties with logical reasoning.
- Orofacial myofunctional disorders: mouth breathing, tongue positioning difficulties, infantile swallowing pattern.
Working with school teams, I suggest reasonable accommodations to support the child’s inclusion at school and their overall well-being.
Care for adults
I also support adults with communication disorders related to:
- A stroke or head injury, leading to disorders such as aphasia or dysarthria
- A degenerative condition affecting communication
Through experience gained during a placement at the Cliniques universitaires Saint-Luc, I have developed in-depth expertise in the rehabilitation of neurological disorders. My individual approach aims to improve quality of life and support functional recovery. Depending on the patient’s needs and location, home visits may be possible.
Committed to the best possible care
To offer quality support, I make sure to keep training so that my practice keeps up with developments in the field. My goal is to help each patient gain independence and confidence, working closely with their family, school team, doctors and other therapists.
I look forward to meeting you,
Noémie
